GMCs Rajouri, Kathua to start Degree Courses in various Paramedical branches

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 14: Government Medical College Rajouri and Kathua would start degree courses in various Paramedical branches.
In this regard, affiliation from University of Jammu for starting three degree courses each in various Paramedical branches.
The branches included B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology, B.Sc Operation Theatre Technology and B.Sc Renal Dialysis Technology.
Financial Commissioner, Atul Dullo congratulated the team of J&K Paramedical Council and authorities of GMC Kathua and Rajouri for the achievement. He further said that these courses are being started for the first time and earlier the students had to travel outside the state to pursue these courses. He further informed that the process of seeking permission for starting of these courses in GMC Srinagar, Doda, Anantnag and Baramulla is going on.
Registrar J&K Paramedical Council, Dr Sandeep Singh, stated that these courses shall be conducted in different departments of the two Medical Colleges with existing faculty and the admission to these courses shall be conducted by Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE).
