SWD, ALIMCO host assessment camp

UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 13: The Social Welfare Department in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) organised a week long assessment camps, here today.
Block Development Council Chairperson, Nisha Sharma , District Social Welfare Officer, Sana Khan, Prosthetic & Orthotist (ALIMCO), Dr Dhananjay Mohrana, Block Medical Officer, Dr Anand, Sarpanch Tikri, Yashpal Sharma, Sarpanch Mand West, Arjan Singh, staff of Social Welfare Department and ALIMCO were present on the occasion.
The District Social Welfare Officer, Sana Khan informed that during the week long camps assessment under various schemes will be taking place which will also focus on registering those Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) who do not possess disability certificates, which is the primary requisite for availing the plethora of benefits available to specially abled persons.
