DDC Ramban flags off farmers’ tours

RAMBAN, JANUARY 27: District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan today flagged off five days training tour of 50 progressive farmers from Administrative Complex Maitra, towards SKUAST Jammu.
District Agriculture Officer, RK Hitaishi, GM DIC, Vishwajeet, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, DFO and EO MC were also present on the occasion.
The tour programme was organized by Agriculture Department Ramban under CAPEX-2019-20.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said such tours helps the farmers to acquaint with the best agricultural technology and good practices for the better production of their crops besides helping them to interact with the successful farmers who could provide them the expert guidance.
While interacting with the farmers, DDC advised them to participate with full interest in training sessions to be conducted by the scientists and lectures by experts on different topics related to agriculture Production.
