ACR Ramban conducts market checking

RAMBAN, JANUARY 24: Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dhirendra Sharma along with a team of district officers conducted market checking and realized fine from the erring traders.
The team was comprised of AD, FCS&CA, Abdul Rashid, Food Safety Officer, Balbir Singh, Khilaf Warzi officer, Jameel Ahmed Mir, Sub Inspector, Firdous Ahmed besides officers and officials of concerned departments.
The team also checked the rates of Mutton, Chicken, Fruits, Vegetables, Milk and other eatables besides inspecting the quality of these commodities.
An amount of Rs. 3700 as fine was recovered from erring traders. Meantime, officers warned the unscrupulous traders to desist from using unfair trade practices, overcharging and stressed for maintaining sanitation and display of rate list and stickers. They also appealed to the consumers to remain vigilant while purchasing the commodities.
