DC visits Model Police Station Doda

DODA, JANUARY 24: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today visited Model Police Station Doda and took the stock of functioning of the institution, besides inspected the district youth club established inside the premises.
SSP Mumtaz Ahmed, DSP DAR Mansoor Ahmed, DSP Headquarters Manoj Kumar, Tehsildar Doda Shabir Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Adil Lone, SHO Doda Rauf Khan, SI Ashiq Hussain, besides officials of civil and police administration accompanied the DC during his visit.
DC also inspected control room, complaint registration section, forensic lab, dining room, lock-up, computer room, youth club, library etc.
DC enquired about the process of complaint registration, online updation of FIR's on designated portal, follow up/status of the cases, facilities provided to the detainees during the detention period etc.
While inspecting the district youth club, DC asked the SSP that to engage more youth and update the library with competitive journals, books, national newspapers, magazines etc.
