MD, JPDCL inspects power installations across Jammu City

JAMMU, JANUARY 24: Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Yasha Mudgal today inspected various power distribution installations in Jammu City and its peripheries.
While inspecting the progress on up-gradation works, she stressed upon the concerned authorities to take all necessary measures to speed up the work .
She directed the Chief Engineer, Jammu, Sudhir Gupta, to ensure timely completion of civil work and removal of impediments, if any.
State Head of REC, Power Distribution Corporation Limited (PDCL), Sanjeev Kailwoo, briefed the MD that 2 transformers of 10 MVA have been installed at Canal – II and the same would be made functional before the set deadline, while foundation station/control room at Udheywala will also be made functional soon.
The MD also visited other installations, including receiving station Jhiri, Chak Bhalwal, Barn, Rajinder Nagar (Muthi), Ware House, RBI Trikuta and PWD Guest House Gandhi Nagar.
Among others, Superintendent Engineer Sanjeev Seth; Executive Engineer, Sub Transmission & Distribution, Anil Gupta and other senior officers of concerned department, accompanied the MD during the visit.
