J&K Gaddi Sabha calls on Lt Governor

Jammu, January 23: A delegation of J&K Gaddi Sabha today called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.
The delegation led by Sh. Kuldeep Kumar projected various issues and demands pertaining to the welfare of the Gaddi and Sippi community including establishment of Gaddi and Sippi Board, removal of anomalies in implementation of Schedule Tribes status, educational & political reservation, scholarship facilities to the Gaddi and Sippi students etc.
The Lt Governor while interacting with the members of the delegation observed that the government is working towards the welfare and development of every section of the society and assured them that all their genuine issues and demands would be taken up for examination for their early redressal.
