Debate competition on BBBP organized at GCW Parade

JAMMU, JANUARY 23: State Resource Centre for Women, Social Welfare Department in collaboration with NSS of Government College for Women Parade today organized debate and signature campaign on Beti Bachao Beti Padao to celebrate the National Girl Child Week.
Twelve students participated in the debate competition and highlighted the need of celebrating National Girl Child Week.
State Mission Director, SRCW, Rifat Arif highlighted the objective of the scheme BBBP and exhorted upon the students the follow the same in letter in spirit.
The Programme was conducted under the supervision of Principal GCW Parade, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Gupta. Prof. Hardeep Kour (HOD Economic), Dr. Shalini Sharma (Department of English), Dr. Pooja Nanda (Department of Chemistry) were the Judges. The programme was anchored by Ahsaan Danish and Mehar Fatihma.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners. Hivreen Kour of 2nd Semester B.A, Divya Sharma of 2nd Semester B.A. and Aqsa Lodhi of 6th Semester B.sc. were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
