India not a theocratic state: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, 22 Jan: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that India is not a theocratic country because it looks at the world as one large family. Singh was speaking on Wednesday at the National Cadet Corp (NCC) Republic Day Camp, where he presented awards to the Cadets.

Rajnath Singh said that kids of Jammu and Kashmir are patriotic and should not be blamed if they are not motivated in the right way.

Singh stated that India believes in 'Sarva Dharma Sambhav' and that is why India is truly 'Panth Nirpekhsha'.

Singh commended the NCC cadets for their dedication to serve the nation and preserve its ethos.

Stating that the youth of the country possess the zeal to serve the nation, Singh pointed out that NCC plays a vital role in strengthening the unity of the nation.
