BJP doesn't believe in dynastic politics: Raman Suri

JAMMU: BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) State Executive Member Raman Suri today said that BJP, which is the largest political outfit in India, truly represents common people and is not ruled by dynasty. It is the character of this party only, that enables even common people to reach pinnacle of party for serving the nation. Recent election of JagatPrakashNadda,who is fromHimachal Pradesh and born in Patna - Bihar, as the National President of BharatiyaJanata Party is an example of how BJP banks upon right people, who can lead, and not the dynasts.

Raman Suri said that unlike Congress, BJP had always been represented by party presidents drawn from different parts of the country. He said that J P Nadda was first elected from Himachal Pradesh and was later elected to RajyaSabha. He has also served as minister in different capacities. He said that the election of Nadda as BJP President, the party will prosper and carry forward its legacy.

Raman Suri said that unlike Congress which can not think beyond Gandhi family, BJP had been represented by Atal Bihari Vajpayee born in Gwalior, L. K. Advani born in Karachi, MurliManohar Joshi born in Almora, KushabhauThakre born in Dhar, BangaruLaxman born in Andhra Pradesh, K. Jana Krishnamurthi born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, MuppavarapuVenkaiah Naidu born in Chavatapalem - Madras, Rajnath Singh born in Utter Pradesh, NitinJairamGadkari born in Nagpur, Amitabh Anilchandra Shah who is from Gujrat and born in Mumbai – Maharashtra, and now JagatPrakashNadda from Himachal Pradesh, as it's National President.

Raman Suri said that country is passing through a phase where change is inevitable. Youth are getting connected to mainstream politics, development is reaching villages, poor are being extended support, foreign investment is arriving, defence is getting strengthened and a new era of peace and prosperity is dawning in India. At this stage Nadda's elections as BJP National President will go a long way in strengthening secular forces and making India a great nation to lead world.
