7 KAS shifted

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday affected a minor reshuffle in the middle-rung administration, transferring and posting seven KAS officers.

Naresh Kumar, Deputy Secretary to the Government, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, was transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, against an available vacancy, besides being given the additional charge of the post of Sub Registrar, Ramnagar.

Vivek Modi, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department, was transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Basantgarh, against an available vacancy and was also given the additional charge of the post of Sub-Registrar, Basantgarh.

Mohammad Rashid, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, was posted as Deputy Director, Employment (Central), J&K vice Shahid Mehmood, who in turn was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department vice Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina, who was further transferred and posted as Personnel Officer in the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K, against an available vacancy.

Meanwhile, Jaffar Hussain Sheikh, Junior KAS, Under Secretary in the office of Chief Secretary, was transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the Technical Education Department (skill Development Mission) vice Dr Farukh Nasir Paul, who in turn was transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the office of Chief Secretary.
