Literature aficionado embarks on India Literature Tour

The beauty of literature lies in the fact that it gives us an insight into the labyrinth of the worldly affairs. The appreciation of literature soothes not just our hearts but also acts as a catalyst to add exuberant zest to our monotonous life.

At this juncture of time when Indian literature is scaling new heights, a young literary enthusiast Vikash Saxena is connecting with the young hearts through his works, as he has been the driving force behind various literary organizations which include Hindi House and Literia Insight.

Further on this splendid literary trail, Vikash is doing an ‘India Tour for Literature’. Under this India Tour, he has so far associated with IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU's Literary Society 'The Lit Club'. In the days to come, he and his team have pledged to associate with many other prestigious educational institutions in different cities of the country. This tour is being touted as an exemplary platform for connecting with the youngsters of the country; and also to know the contemporary condition of Indian literature, and the approach of youth towards Literature in India’s literary landscape.

Vikash, who basically is from Uttrakhand, belongs to a middle-class family. Having been featured in various prominent publications including The Pioneer, Amar Ujala, and Dainik Jagran; he has also delivered talks in various colleges along with organisations like Gandhi Peace Foundation, Ghalib Academy, Hindustani Bhasha Academy, and NSD, New Delhi. He has been honoured as the “Youngest Hindi Literary Critic” in India in 2016 by Padma Shree Surendra Sharma, and his article has been published in the 'Social Welfare Magazine' of Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Regarding the objective of the Literary Tour, Vikash says, "With this tour, I want to delve into knowing more about the condition of Indian literature on the ground today, and how the youth of the country looks at literature today. I am trying my best to introduce that form of literature which is sacred, which has a message of welfare of the society, which is a pioneer in itself, and makes us follow the right path".
