R-Day: DDC Bandipora reviews arrangements

BANDIPORA, JANUARY 20: District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, today convened a meeting of officers to review Republic Day arrangements in the district.
The meeting was attended by ADC Bandipora, ACR Bandipora, Joint Director Planning, Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Executive Engineers of R&B and PHE, besides other concerned.
The meeting was informed that contingents of JKP, IRP, CRPF, NCC, students of various educational institutions will participate in march past parade and various cultural programmes will be presented by artists and school children on the occasion.
It was given out that the main function including full dress rehearsal will held at Sports Stadium Bandipora while similar functions will be conducted at sub-division and Tehsil levels also.
The meeting was informed that the meritorious students and employees will be felicitated for their outstanding performance on the occasion.
The meeting discussed seating arrangements, electricity, drinking water supply, sanitation, medical aid facility, traffic management and parking facility at the venue.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure that all arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of the event.
