BDC Elections: Training imparted to Returning Officers, polling parties at Leh

LEH, OCTOBER 21: In view of the upcoming Block Development Council (BDC) elections, 2019 last hands-on training was imparted to the Returning Officers and polling parties at DC conference hall today.
The training session was held under the supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Zakir Hussain and was imparted to the participants by the District Level Master Trainers Dr. Stanzin Rabgais, Mohd. Ayub and Thinley Dawa.
The master trainers gave hands on training to the polling and presiding officers about the process of polling, collection of polling material, handling and sealing of ballot boxes, duties and function of polling parties, counting process and result declaration.
The training concluded with doubt-clearing session and interaction with the participants.
