DC Jammu reviews preparation for BDC elections

JAMMU, OCTOBER 21: District Development Commissioner, Sushma Chauhan, today chaired a meeting of officers designated as Nodal Officers for different activities in the district for smooth conduct of upcoming Block Development Council elections.
The meeting was attended by SDMs, BDOs, ROs besides other Nodal officers.
Sushma Chauhan took stock of the activities assigned to different Nodal officers like Law and order/ complaint redressal, Material Management, Transport Plan, Media and Communication, Postal Ballots besides related activities of BDC Elections.
The DDC instructed the concerned officers to perform their role and responsibilities in a total efficient and professional manner for smooth and successful conduct of these crucial polls. She asked them to work in an impartial manner while performing their assigned election duties.
