Dist Admin organizes cycle rally to Jammu city to raise awareness on clean & green Diwali, BBBP

UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 20: To spread the message of clean and green Diwali and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, DDC Dr. Piyush Singla led a cycle rally from DC Office Complex to Jammu city.
More than 20 cyclist including female cyclists participated in the rally that passed through Udhampur City via Slathia Chowk, Court road, Ramnagar Chowk, Gole Market, Bus stand & Mini Stadium before heading towards Jammu city.
MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh met the rally at Katra Domail and interacted with the cyclists. He appreciated the initiative for spreading the message of clean Diwali, BBBP and fit India movement. Stressing on the importance of Fit India movement, Dr Singh asked all to join fit India movement for a healthy society.
People in large number greeted the rally and appreciated the efforts of the administration. Cyclist interacted with people and motivated them for celebrating Diwali in a clean and green manner.
It is pertinent to mention here that District Administration is regularly organizing such events to raise awareness among general public about Government schemes through innovative methods and to implore people to join in the effort.
