Formulation of GPDP: Training held for RDD officials at Doda

DODA, OCTOBER 19: A two day training session for frontline fieldworkers including VLWs and MPWs on Gram Panchayat Development Plan and Mission Antyodaya Survey, 2019 began here today.
District Development Commissioner (DDC), Dr Sagar D Doifode presided over the Training cum capacity building session.
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), CPO Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), DPO Doda and BDOs also attended the session.
At the outset, threadbare discussions were held on the parameters on Mission Antodaya, People’s Plan Campaign, Role of Ward Majlis (Ward Sabha) & Halqa Majlis (Gram Sabha) in preparation of GPDP and implementation and Monitoring of GPDP.
The DDC said that Mission Antyodaya Survey is done co- terminus with the People's Plan Campaign (PPC) and this is to improve accountability and outcome of large pool of resources spent under different schemes for the sustainable and inclusive growth and development of rural areas. He asked the participants to get fully acquainted about the GPDP and Mission Antyodaya Survey 2019 for achieving the desired objectives.
He informed that the exercise of formulation of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) at Panchayat level shall be started from first week of November 2019 for which the District Panchayat Officer Doda shall issue Panchayat wise schedule in a rational manner.
During the training programme, the DPO Doda and BDO Bhaderwah acquainted the Panchayat secretaries about the GPDP and Mission Antyodaya Survey, 2019, bio diversity management committees and informed them about their role and responsibilities.
The participants raised queries about the subject which were satisfactorily answered by the resource persons.
