Gangster arrested with country made pistol in Jammu

Jammu: Police arrested one gangster with country made pistol in Gangyal area here on city outskirts.

Police spokesman here said that police party from Gangyal Police Station during patrolling this evening intercepted a pedestrian who was roaming at Model Town in suspicious condition.

''On seeing the Police, he tried to escape but was caught and on his frisking, one country made pistol along with one live round was recovered,'' he added and identified him as Narvir Singh of Upper Beli Charana, Jammu.
