JAMMU: Glaring errors marked the launch of the website of Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL), an occasion celebrated with much fan fare on Monday by senior officials of State administration.
Although carousel (a filmstrip of several images that displays multiple spots of the city) of website--- www.jammusmartcity.org, draws attention of visitors with mesmerizing five pictures of different spots of the city including, two photos of Bagh-e-Bhau, one of Golf Course, one of Raghunath Temple and one of Maharaja Hari Singh Palace, the errors right below these pictures disappoints visitors.
Below the right side of scenic pictures on carousel of the website, under the category proposed junction improvements and proposed way findings, the text appeared as “Click edit button to change this text. Lorem ipsum dolor sits amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.”
“The website creators have not put in the text to be fed in. They must have not got it from the authorities or they might have forgotten to put in the text,” an expert informed The News Now.
