Two killed, in Kishtwar

JAMMU: At least two people including a student was killed when a passenger taxi in which they were travelling, met with an accident in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Police Spokesperson said.

According to him, a taxi rolled down into a gorge this afternoon near Bagran in Sarthal area of Kishtwar district.

Locals and police launched a rescue operation and evacuated the passengers from the deep gorge.

However, two of them were brought to a nearby hospital dead, while the treatment of other injured was going on.
