Div Com reviews progress on Ring Road project

JAMMU JULY 16: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the progress of work on Ring Road project, here at a meeting of concerned officers.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, Project Director NHAI, Ajay Kumar Rajak, Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South, Srikant Side, and other concerned officers while Deputy Commissioner Samba attended the meeting through video conferencing.
The officers of NHAI informed the Div Com about the progress of work so far and also explained the future work plan.
It was informed that the earth work on the road is almost complete and work on major and minor bridges is in progress.
The Div Com also discussed issues of pending structures, land possession issue and other related issues.
The Div Com sought details of disbursement of compensation to the owners whose land has been acquired for this project.
The Div Com asked the executing agencies to remove the bottlenecks, if any and expedite the pace of work to meet the timelines.
