11 employees found absent in DH Bandipora; Govt issues explination and Show-Cause notice

Jammu: Government-issued show-cause notice against 11 employees of Bandipora hospital for remaining unauthorizedly absent from their duties.

Eleven employees were found absent from duties when Medical Superintendent Bandipora made a surprise visit to different sections of the hospital on Saturday.

As the patients complained about the issue to the concerned authorities, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Bandipora issued explination and show cause notice to the eleven employees asking them to explain their position within 48 hours failing which action will be taken against them. “You are hereby directed to explain your position with a detailed report within two 48 hours positively falling which it will be presumed that you have nothing to say in your defense and further action under rules will be initiated against you,” reads the order issued by Medical Superintendent DH Bandipora.

Locals have demanded a thorough probe into the matter and demanded a massive reshuffle as according to the many employees in the hospital are posted there from past many years and have not been transferred due which they have developed many self-interests
