Kupwara: MSME functioning reviewed

KUPWARA, JULY 11: The Consultant (Advisor) Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Altaf Ahmad Mir today chaired a meeting of concerned officers in presence of District Development Commissioner Kupwara Anshul Garg to review the functioning MSME in the District.
Additional District Development Commissioner Kupwara Mohammed Ashraf Bhat who is also holding the charge of General Manager District Industries Centre Kupwara gave a detailed presentation regarding MSME achievements. Various issues and problems related to MSME were also highlighted in the meeting.
The Consultant MSME asked the concerned departments to hold the awareness camps and train the stakeholders across district to establish self employment and income generating units.
He also stressed for infrastructural development of industrial estates and directed the concerned to make a DPR, so the sanitation, drinking water and various other issues like installation of office equipments would be solved.
Among others meeting was attended by Assistant Directors Handloom & Handicrafts, DPO, Manager DIC, IPOs and other concerned.
