DDC Ramban reviews performance of PWD, PDD

RAMBAN, MAY 22: District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today reviewed the progress on key projects of PDD and PWD.
He took review of physical and financial achievements for the year 2018-19 and 2019-20 under District and State Plan, CRF, STF, NABARD of the twin departments.
The meeting was attended by CPO, Kasturi Lal , Assistant Director Planning Ganesh Kumar, Xen PWD, XEN PHE, AEEs, AEs and JEs were attended the meeting.
The DDC set the deadline for the completion of ongoing road and bridge projects and directed the engineers to accelerate the pace of construction work. He directed the Xen PWD to personally visit road projects to resolve confronting issues and bottlenecks hindering timely execution of projects. He was directed to erect temporary toilet units at identified locations to facilitate Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Meanwhile, the DDC directed PDD to commission the receiving station Ukhral besides ensure uninterrupted power supply in rural areas especially during Ramdan. He also reviewed the status of stock and replacement of transformers.
