“Those teachers and lecturers who fail to deliver properly in their concerned subject resulting poor marks of the students will not get annual increment,” Director School Education, Jammu Anuradha Gupta told The News Now.

“We have also sought explanation from the concerned Lecturers, Masters, Teachers for poor performance of the students,” she said, adding that in this regard order have been issued by Chief Education Officers (CEO) of districts Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Reasi, Rajouri, Udhampur and Poonch.

“Time and again instructions stands issued for the improvement of results in Government Schools.
However, in the recently declared results by the JKBOSE of 10th and 12th class annual examination 2018-19, it has been observed that most of the government schools are having their results pass percentage 33 percent or less,” the order reads.
