Fake job racket busted in Ganderbal; 3 arrested

Kashmir, Jan 3: Police today said they have busted a fake job racket in Ganderbal district and arrested three persons who were allegedly duping people on the pretext of providing jobs in government departments against heavy sums of money.
The police also have recovered fake appointment letters, service books, GP fund books and other material from them.

SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone told media persons here that a complaint was lodged by two girls that some persons have duped them by providing fake job appointment orders.
"In this regard a case was lodged in Police Station Safapora and special investigating team was constituted, headed by SHO Safapora Mudasir Zaroo.”
He said that during the initial investigation one accused person namely Aamir Ahmed Mir resident of Safapora was arrested and some fake job orders, GP fund books were recovered on his disclosure.

He further said that during further course of investigation two more persons were arrested identified as Rauf Ahmad Mir resident of Budgam and Aashiq Ahmad Jugoo resident of Srinagar along with fake orders and certificates.
He said that the fourth accused person namely Riyaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Shopian who is believed to be the main accused is absconding, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab him and will be arrested very soon.
The SSP said that these persons would entice gullible unemployed youth for government jobs against large sums of money.
SSP Ganderbal stated that during the course of investigation it was found that all the four accused persons had formed a gang and were duping people by providing fake job orders against.
SSP urged the parents as well as unemployed youth to remain cautious against such traps.
