Pak terrorist, 3 LeT OGWs held

SRINAGAR: In a significant achievement, a terrorist, reportedly a Pakistani national, along with three local Over Ground Workers (OGWs), were arrested with a large cache of arms and ammunition in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on Thursday, official sources said. The security forces on Thursday arrested four persons, including the driver of a load carrier, from Chechlora area of Tangmarg in Baramulla, they said.
Reports said that a special team of Cargo and 2 RR laid down a naka near Chichloora, Kunzar and detained four persons along with arms and ammunitions including grenades and AK rifles.
A vehicle has also been seized in which they were traveling in at the time when the joint team intercepted them.
Sources identified OGWs as Jammel Ahmad Bhat (20) son of Ghulam Mohidin and Amir Ahmad Bhat (18) son of Khazir Bhat.
"Another person is said to be the driver of the vehicle namely Mohd Yaseen Bhat of Pattan," they said, adding that fourth one was believed to be a terrorist from Pakistan, but police confirmed the arrest of only three local persons.
The arrested suspects are belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit, they said.
