DC Budgam distributes food kits among needy at Ompora

BUDGAM, APRIL 07: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Tariq Husain Ganai today distributed food kits among the needy at Spring Buds School Ompora, Budgam.
The food kits distribution was organized by Spring Buds Education Trust in collaboration with District Administration Budgam.
About 200 needy families were provided with different food items including, rice, ata, cooking oil and spices.
The DC Budgam, on the occasion, said that all efforts are on to reach out to all needy families so that they don’t suffer during the lockdown period.
Among others various designated Covid-19 Nodal Officers including Mohammad Ashraf Shiekh, Reyaz Ahmad Shah, District Food Officer, Yamin Nabi, Chairman Spring Buds Esucation Trust, Mohammad Shafi Qureshi were present on the occasion.
The distribution was held under the proper social distancing etiquettes maintained to avoid person to person contact on the occasion.
Meanwhile, locals appreciated the efforts of District Administration Budgam and Spring Buds Trust for reaching out to them during the current crisis, caused due to COVID-19 pandemic.
