DC Kupwara constitutes DLTF committee to ensure universal usage of masks in district

KUPWARA, APRIL 06: In order to ensure universal usage of masks in the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Anshul Grag, who is also the Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority, today constituted a four-member District Level Task Force (DLTF) committee.
The Committee comprises of District Health Officer, Assistant Director Handicrafts, District Panchayat Officer and District Social Welfare Officer.
The DC directed the committee to ensure universal usage of masks in the district, production and distribution of masks in accordance with the government order through mobilizing all local resources for stitching of masks, finalizing sample and to ensure quality standard of the masks procured locally as per guidelines.
The committee was accorded with the powers to finalize rates and distribution mechanism to cover entire population within a period of two weeks. The committee will also make logistic arrangements for supply of raw material and collection of ready masks besides, distribution of cloth masks in the district. It will also ensure that a proper inventory is maintained, in this regard.
The committee was also asked to look into requirement of funds for covering all PHH and AAY beneficiaries.
