DC Bandipora appeals people to voluntarily switch off lights on Sunday evening

BANDIPORA, APRIL 05: Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, has appealed people to voluntarily switch off the lights in their houses at 9 pm for nine minutes on Sunday, in view of the appeal made by the Prime Minister.
He said the appeal has been made to switch of the lights only and does not apply to street lights or appliances like TV, refrigerator or AC in the homes. He advised local bodies to keep street lights on during the said time period. Lights in Hospitals, essential services and other security installations shall remain on during this time period.
