MD JPDCL inspects facilities in quarantine centres at Kathua

KATHUA, APRIL 02: Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Yasha Mudgal, who is assisting the Health and Medical Education Department in coronavirus mitigation efforts, today visited various quarantine centres in Kathua to inspect facilities being provided to inmates there.
During the tour, she visited six quarantine centres including S K Farms, Saver Resort, Boys Hostel of Government Degree College, University Campus, Surya College of Education and Sodhi Resort.
She directed the Nodal Officers to ensure adequate logistics like food/essential commodities, medical surveillance and sanitation arrangements at these centres.
The concerned officers were also directed to implement the quarantine guidelines in strictest possible manner, while taking care that the inmates are provided adequate comforts and proper medical care.
On the occasion, she was informed that Health Desks at every quarantine centre has been established to deal with the medical exigencies and mobile laundry service is being used to upkeep the personal hygiene of the inmates.
Earlier, MD JPDCL interacted with the inmates of the quarantine centres and enquired about their well-being, difficulties being faced by them if any and other facilitation they may need.
Nodal Officer for female-specific issues, Suninderjeet Kour also accompanied Yasha Mudgal during the visit.
