Kishtwar admin distributes free ration to stranded workers

KISHTWAR, MARCH 29: District administration Kishtwar under the supervision of District Magistrate, Rajinder Singh Tara today distributed food items among the 42 families of interstate migrant workers, labourers and slum dwellers, who are stranded at various places of the district during nationwide lock down situation due to Coronavirus outbreak.
About 206 souls from 42 families presently staying in slums at Shakti Nagar and Helipad Kishtwar were provided with cooked food, besides, 30 kg dry ration including 10 kg atta, 10 kg rice, pulses, potatoes, onion, cooking oil, haldi, salt, sugar, milk, tea and spices.
The distribution was done by Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik along with ALC Anoop Kumar, Tehsildar Kishtwar Pramod Kumar, AD FCS&CA G.R. Lone, Vice President MC Kishtwar Firdous Ahmed Mingnoo among others.
